• Biodesigner
Biodesigner is a molecular modeling and visualization program running under
Windows. It can recognize several molecular file formats, display molecules using various styles,
modify and save molecules, edit sequences, and much more. While the program is a bit outdated
now, a new version is coming by fall of 2007, keep watching!
• iMol
iMol is Biodesigner's "little brother" working under Mac OS X.
It has basic rendering capabilities and can save output images to bitmap and postscript.
• CCOMP
CCOMP (Complex COMParison) is a simple command-line tool for comparing ligand/receptor complexes.
• SAL
SAL (Structure ALignment) is a simple protein structure alignment program.
